Hi Folk,
weekend ago finished the "Copa San Isidro Labrador"in Buenos Aires. We could race only 3 regattas because the wind was very light (4 to 6 knots) . The results of the regattas not were so good, we were one of heaviest Teams.
On saturday the boat hadn´t speed, it was stalled, we slammed into any waves but on sunday we were tuning the boat before go to the race, Nico was fixing battens´s jib and others things, our boat-speed and boat-handling improved.
Mika Sielecki and Jejen Ocampo from Yacht Club Argentino won the Championship, Congratulations!!!
We finished in 11st place from twenty 29er and think that it was a good result because its were our first races, Nico as helmsman and I as crew.
Now we will come back to sail together on september because I ´m going to travel on 26th of june to New Jersey to trainning a Team of Laser during two months.

el finde termino el campeonato "Copa San Isidro Labrador" en Bs As. Pudimos correr solo tre regatas porque hubo muy poco viento (4 a 6 nudos). Los resultados de las regatas no fueron tan buenos ya que eramos los mas pesados de la flota.
El sabado no teniamos velocidad y estabamos parado, chocabamos las olas, pero el domingo estuvimos trabajando sobre el barco antes de la regata , Nico arreglo unos battens del foque y otras cositas mas, mejoramos la velocidad y las maniobras.
Mika Sielecki y Jejen Ocampo del Yacht Club Argentino ganaron el Campeonato, Felicitaciones!!!
Terminamos 11º de veinte 29er. Pensamos que el resultado dentro de todo fue bueno ya que es la primer regata, Nico como timonel y yo como tripu.
Ahora volveremos a correr en septiembre ya que yo tengo que viajar el 26 de junio a New Jersey para entrenar un equipo de Laser durante dos meses.
